We have a great team of reliable and experienced sitters and many are parents themselves.
We provide daytime, evening and overnight care for all ages, from newborns to teenagers.
All our sitters have undergone police and reference checks, hold full driving licences and are able to provide their own transport. Behind the scenes, they are fully supported 24 hours a day.
Lake Wanaka Babysitting have many return clients and we are always willing to work with you to meet your needs. Whether you’re tying the knot, hitting the slopes, having a day on the lake, or a well-deserved "date night", one of our sitters will come to your home or accommodation.

Rates
Agency Fee - (please note this is not a deposit against your sitting hours)
Up to 48 hrs before assignment- $30.00 agency fee per day/ per sitter.
Last minute bookings- $40.00 agency fee per day/ per sitter.
The agency fee is non refundable and will be taken at the time of booking.
If we cannot supply you with a sitter for the date you require the agency fee will then be refunded.
Hourly rates as listed below, minimum 3 hours.
7:00am-12:00am: from $30.00 per hour / 3-8 hours
from $45.00 per hour / 9+ hours
After midnight: from $45.00 per hour
(Onsite Wedding/Event/Unusual location sits POA)
Please Note
-If more than one family is sharing a sitter there is an additional charge of 50% per hour/per sitter.
-Public Holidays will incur an additional charge of 50% per hour/per sitter.
-Maximum 4 children per sitter, dependent on age. We reserve the right to reduce the number of children that can be cared for depending on individual circumstances, please discuss your needs with us.
-Travel charges may apply if the location is outside Wanaka, please speak to us.

-New Years Eve - please enquire for pricing.
Our sitters are busy people, sits cancelled within 24 hours of the booking will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to the time booked (up to a maximum of six hours).
Bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the scheduled booked time will incur a three hour cancellation fee.
Time and a half will apply to hours that run past the scheduled booked time.
